4 Weddings and a Baby

It has been ages since I have had the chance to sit down and pound out a mumble or two, but now is the time, So to get everyone up to speed....
I am no longer the cohort of one Ian Moore, I am pretty sure alot of you probably figured that out, we left on great terms, so if you are thinking it was a "behind the music" style fallout, the kind where we publicly humiliate one another and burn effigies of each other you are wrong, as far as I know. The last show was at the Ivy Room in Albany California, it was fairly uneventful except for the drunken sound man with a giant bubble machine who screamed at us every chance he got, the only Texas resident that witnessed the last of an era was the unsinkable Merry Kelly, Thank you by the way for the sanity. The drive back was long and a little harder than usual but thankfully Lauren Fogel, ye of impeccable taste, was along. Upon arriving in Austin I gave my set of van keys to Lauren and watched the soccer rocker mobil roll away from my house, elated and sad all at once. I managed to get incredibly busy, putting together the Onionspecific Headquarters and immersing myself in random acts of labor, remodeling a house, assembling a studio, crash courses in Microsoft shizzle, and on March 23 at 6:54 in the morning I became a father of a baby girl, Annilyn Margaret, (the intended last name was going to be Dye, but due to the fact that I have issues with marriage, and the mother of course didn't, we went with hers, what the hell I figured since girls lose their last names when they get married more often then their first, I figured it fitting that with a name like Annilyn based around her mother's mother's middle name Ann, and my Fathers middle name Lynn, and the fact that Aniline Dye is what we use to stain the lacquer on guitars, means that she will always be a Dye no matter what last name she has.) I have been sleep deprived since but still managed to partake in the last of a quattro of weddings this year, First there was Stephanie's, than the Forshage shindig followed by my Brother's monsoon-A-rama, and finally the Brittman Gala, three of which I was honored to be the best man, 3 times in one year, not likely to happen again, but it still leaves me with a good feeling that three people I respect very much asked me to be a part of their wedding, Thank You All!
So those of you wondering what is next on my agenda, well I have been recording alot over the years and am trying to get the time to "finish" some stuff and actually let it out, I have also been putting together an outdoor photographic event accompanied by my own ambient compositions, it is titled Civil Light and If given enough time to "finish" I will debut it by this summer. Also I will have the Onionspecific Headquarters fully operational soon, my very own creative space, sight, sound and science, all under one roof, all above Forshage Custom Instruments, keep your eyes out for a opening sometime soon
